Hi, I am Shang. I am a fourth-year Computer Science major with ten years of competitive programming experience. I have represented UCSD at the ICPC World Finals in 2023 and 2024, and I am also an International Grandmaster on Codeforces. Beyond competitive programming, I am passionate about Go, StarCraft II, and researching large language models.

Huize Mao

Hi! I am Huize (pronounced as Luis with an 'H' instead of 'L'). I am a third-year data science major passionate about problem-solving through code, and I am very excited to help foster a competitive programming community within UCSD. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, music, chess, reading, and trying random new experiences. I am Chinese and spent most of my time before college in Madrid while attending an American school.

I’m Raymond, a third-year Data Science major at UC San Diego with a deep passion for learning about new and intriguing algorithms. Whether you’re trying to grasp a complex concept or simply want to chat about the latest in algorithm design, I’m always happy to help. I am Manu and a third year majoring in Math and Computer Engineering. Competitive programming has been a special hobby of mine due to its combination of critical thinking and clever puzzles. My other interests include mathematical animation, programming language design, and going on hikes. I am looking forward to helping out ICPC at UCSD!

Hi, I’m Julie 👋 I’m a Computer Science major at UCSD, and I love coding and learning new programming languages. I’m currently focused on AI and machine learning and have joined a research team working on computer vision. In my free time, I enjoy reading books or watching Brooklyn 99. Hi, I'm Ben! I'm a third-year Computer Science major at UCSD. I'm originally from LA. I enjoy coding, computers, and problem solving, and I've been involved in competitive programming for about a year. Outside of coding, I enjoy running, hiking, and board games.

Qihao Ye

Hi, I am Qihao. I am a fifth-year PhD student in the Department of Mathematics at UCSD, with research interests in numerical mathematics and scientific computing. Having competed in the ICPC during my undergraduate years, it is an honor for me to assist other students in realizing their ICPC aspirations.

Jingbo Shang

I’m an Associate Professor at UCSD jointly appointed by Computer Science and Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute. I obtained my Ph.D. from UIUC advised by Prof. Jiawei Han in 2019. I received my B.E. from SJTU in 2014. I’m also a coach of the UCSD’s ACM-ICPC team.
